Great first gig at The Jetty dock bar in Kent Narrows on March 30. Tailored the set list for the occasion, including some nautical-themed tunes. My son and daughter-in-law were in attendance, and they got to meet some of the more colorful characters in the establishment. This includes a fun-loving dude who had been at the bar for several hours. He kept throwing requests my way (some granted, some not) and at one point he tried to climb on stage to chat – and grabbed the speaker stand to pull himself up! Duh-oh! Had to hug the thing for dear life. The speaker stand, not the dude.
